A depleated fleet sailed Heat 2 of the Summer Series on Sunday. With 3 boats away at Manning Point for the Travellers Trophy and a few others unable to find crew, the 4 boats that did sail, found a very tricky blue course with more holes in it than a sieve. But all in all, a beautiful day on the water.

2010 Club Championship Heat2
With HSC nearly over we had a great turnout (12 Boats) for Heat 2 of the Club Championship. Once again finding crew was an effort for some of the boats with Ted having to venture out on his own. Hugh and Tara sailed a great race in his new boat "Carbon Neutral" for a runaway win. The Race for 2nd and 3rd was a battle between 4 boats, anyone of them in contention right up to the finish line. Great to see Tom and Sam back in Peak and in the mix

2010 Spring Series Heat 4

FOLLOW THE LEADER
What started out as a drifter turned into a great days racing. Every boat had a go at the front and, at the back, with positions changing at every mark. Thankfully the wind freshened towards the middle of the race and it wasn't until the top mark for the final time that Hugh pulled away to win.

The season started in perfect conditions on Sunday. "Shine" skippered by Rosie and crewed by Harry jumped out to a commanding lead in the first race of the afternoon only to be passed late in the race by David and Charlotte on "Saltwater" and Alex and Danii-elle on "chitty chitty bang bang".
In the second race "Saltwater" took the lead early and it wasnt untill right at the finish that "chitty" managed to squeak home. "Hairy Lemon" came a close 3rd.
