Autumn Series Heat1

With gusts at times reaching 20 knots, Sunday was a day for some fun. Dave and Hugh ( Sailing with young Stephen ) had a great tussle but eventually Hugh sailed away for the win.
Tim Dunstan in Darkhorse spent the day showing his crew for the day, Sophie Holt, the joys of sailing at Northbridge. Not sure she was that impressed.

Somethings missing

Cameron decided to venture out on Sunday without a crew or a Jib............and what fun he had!!

First race of the New Year

The first race of the2011 was the Summer Series Heat 5 and as always, was a handicap race. For some it was the first sail for awhile while for others it was a chance to relax a little away from the intensity of the summer regattas.
The time off may have explained why some of the fleet decided to add an extra mark rounding to the days race!

Two from Two

For anyone wanting a crew on Sunday afternoons, when your regular one is a no show, then young Stephen might be a good bet.
For the past 2 Sundays Stephen has helped out Alex and Hugh, and in the process,WON both races.
He sails NJs in the morning and can generally be found after lunch sniffing around the moths.

Presidents Plate 2010

SANTA AND SUBMARINES
3 Races this Sunday. The first 2 with not much wind, the last in a little too much wind, which made for some great pics. Santa and his little helper were spotted at the front of all 3 races until half way through the last one when Alex (who doesnt want any xmas presents this year) found a little extra Reindeer power and shot away for the win. Alexs crew, while Danii is away, Simon, gave us his opinion of the NS14 when he got back to the club, "bloody hard to sail............but once that wind gets up, shit are they fun!!!". Evan was spotted trying to do cartwheels down the bay, while Aidan, fresh from his welcome home party the night before, couldn't wipe the smile off his face after an hours worth of reaching practice at the end of the day.

Heat 4 Club Championship 2010

Heat 4 of the Club Championship was held last weekend. After a change in the course and the arrival of some wind everyone enjoyed a great afternoon on the water. This race was Daniis last one for the year as she is set to return home to Sri Lanka for the xmas break. Alex had great intensions of sending her off in style but Hugh had other ideas. This coming weekend is the 3 race Presidents Plate and will be the last race of 2010 and the final workout before Nationals in Canberra.
